How to lose weight when you have Hypothyroidism?
I'm 13. And I have hypothyroidism. I've been trying to lose weight forever. I eat REALLY healthy and exercise about 20-30 minutes a day. I do everything, I ride my bike, I skateboard, I play Wii Fit, I go to the gym with my mom. Still no results. I've lost like two pounds in a month. I'm looking to lose a lot of weight. I haven't gotten my medicine yet for hypothyroidism. It helps you lose weight or something. But If it doesn't I'm just looking for suggestions. -Thanks. And for people who don't know what Hypothyroidism is it's an underactive thyroid gland; a glandular disorder resulting from insufficient production of thyroid hormones. Look it up for more details.

hun no worries, i have hypothyroidisim too.
i dont wanna crash on anything but there is honestly no way to lose weight that will LOOK noticable until you get the pills. my thyroid levels were sky rocketing. i was 13 when the doctors figured out i had it, i weighed around 115. but i looked a lot fatter than i was,so i did exactly what you did i started eating really healthy and excersizing at least half an hour a day... when i finally got on the pills i continued doing my routine. and a few months later i looked way less fat.
right now you probably won't notice any difference, but if you keep it up even when you are taking the pills you will have a killer body. lol no need to brag, but im 16 now , 5'5, 110 lbs, and have a solid body. so if you keep up the habit while your on the thyroid pills it really helps. i promise this is real i HATED the way i looked. don't worry though i promise the pills help soo much.
(when i didn't have the pills the my lips looked like blueish/purpleish, and i was always tired, and i had a little bit of hair loss. if you have that too, it all goes away with the pills.)
good luck, keep up the excercise and healthy eating

Ashley is underweight. 5'5 and 110lbs? Gain some freaking weight. I wouldn't want to brag if I were that thin, that is disgusting.
Ashley has a BMI of 18.3.....you are considered underweight with a BMI of 18.5 or less.......so yeah, NOTHING to brag about.
I am 5'0 and 125lbs and I am not fat at all. I would look gross at 110lbs.
There is no way ANYBODY would look fat at 115lbs so Ashley obviously has body image issues.
